The law of attraction nuances of patience and perseverance
The book “Think and Grow Rich” is considered to be the first book and foundation of today’s teachings on manifesting your desires and creating your reality. In one particular example, the book details the significant desire and belief of an Edwin Barnes. Edwin’s sole desire was that one day he would work WITH, not FOR, the famous inventor Thomas Edison. He barely had enough money to cover his train ride to the city where Thomas Edison lived and worked. Yet, he accumulates the money and takes his few possessions to move to Edison’s city.
Upon finding the location of Thomas Edison’s office, he proudly enters and requests an opportunity to work with Edison. His effort is rewarded, well, partly. He is offered a position working FOR Edison. Edwin continues visualizing and believing one day he will work WITH Thomas Edison.
Is Edwin disappointed or worried? No, he confidently worked hard and waited for his opportunity. The opportunity came 5 years later. Yes, 5 years. But an amazing opportunity indeed. Edison had invented a dictating machine, and none of his salesmen were interesting in selling it. Edwin offers to sell it, and does so well that Edison offers him the distributor and marketing contract. As a result, Edwin goes on to become rather wealthy.
The key to success is more than knowing the law of attraction works on the visualization and belief of your goals and dreams. To succeed, understanding the crucial nuance of patience and perseverance makes Edwin’s dream become a reality.
Knowing the fundamentals of the law of attraction are important to achieve your goal, but understanding the nuances are mandatory.
