Someone asked me the other day, “I have read several books on the law of attraction and creating my reality and they are very helpful, but how do I keep it alive every day? How do I keep up the momentum and not get discouraged on a daily basis?” These are great questions that I often hear. It is easy for us to get excited, understanding how our beliefs and thoughts generate energy into the universe that ultimately manifest into our experiences. Yet when we are working toward achieving a big goal in our life, working hard and having the right intentions, results at times can come slowly.

So what do we do? We know and have read about the importance of visualizing our goal, writing it down, having gratitude, patience, taking steps each day toward the accomplishment of the goal and having faith in God. So off we go down the path toward our goal. Yet 2, 3, 4 weeks go by and we are not sure we are headed in the right direction. It is not so much about what we are doing as much as what we should not do. Career, family, relationships, and most goals are extremely complex. Hence, the desired results often do not manifest in 2 days or 2 months. We get “stuck” on many of the nuances of life and these complex situations.

Most of these nuances have arisen from our societal norms. For example, we are a society that demands (inappropriately) instant results and consequently we get extremely discouraged when we do not see any immediate results. We are constantly looking for “validation” of our efforts. When I am out mowing my lawn, with each pass back and forth across my yard, I can see the results of my efforts. It is the same for thousands of other actions we take in life. Yet, when it comes to manifestation of some major goal, we may not see any results until the very end. Insisting on validation of results moves our focus and consciousness away from having faith in achieving our goal which then results in the delay or never manifesting our desire!

If we require validation of progress every step of the way, we often do so out of fear we will not achieve our goal. The result is never achieving what we desire because we were focused on validation and did not have the faith the process works.

There are many more of these nuances that I will share in coming weeks. To create our reality we must know the fundamentals, but to succeed, we must master the nuances.

Remember, It Was YOU, All Along who always has the power to create the reality you desire.

Warm regards,

Gary
