Beliefs impacting relationships

There is a filtering process in operation when you are armed with your set of beliefs, and are looking for a relationship. You may want someone who is special, confident, compassionate, and caring, but if you do not possess these same qualities, then you attract to you someone who matches your view of yourself. Your dating partner’s filters are also on, looking for someone who is confident, caring and respects herself. Therefore, if you lack self-esteem and want someone who is very confident, your paths will not cross because the Universe works on the law of attraction. As is the fundamental principal of the Law of Attraction, similar energy attracts similar energy. You can not be radiating low self-esteem energy and expect to draw to you a person with high self-esteem energy. It is not possible.
On a cosmic, spiritual level, you won’t register on his energy “radar screen” and he won’t register on yours. You could be attending a sporting event with thousands of people, and the right man could walk right past you, but he will not register on your energy radar, nor will you register on his because you are creating a reality juxtaposed from each other.
The same applies for any other goal you have. You can not “attract” it to you; it can not appear on your radar if you do not project the same energy the goal can provide to you.
